A week has passed since the biggest summer snowboard event in Bulgaria took place in Gabrovo. Yep, the ninja squad “Chiki Ricki boom-boom” video premiere, that we told you about 🙂 . For those of you who missed it, you are screwed, it was awesome 😀 But worry not! Just keep readin’ and you might feel what was it seen through my eyes.
So there we were – me and z3o in my car, headed to Gabrovo. I was flying low as the picture shows and half an hour(or so…) later we were in Gabrovo.We bought the mandatory bottle of lemon juice and Risto(one of the ninjas) told us how to find Gradhishte – ground zero of the upcoming madness.
At about 18-19-ish the party was about to start. There were people all over the place, about ~100 of them – playin’ football or baseball, listening to the music from the enormous speakers, chatting and generaly having PHUN.As the darkness fell the madness was about to start, the free beer (YEAH THERE WAS A LOT OF FREE BEER \o/ Whoa!) was taking care of the party spirit.It all started with a few contests.
And you can’t even imagine what those were 😀 Speed rollings on the ground was the first game, followed by hands walking and shoe-catapulting(shoe-golf), the target was the Rabbit (no, thats not an animal or a matrix movie hero, this is one of the ninjas and he was holding to the megaphone, like it was his family treasure). There was also a karaoke contest and the final game was water balloon fighting( it was a wet war this one, no one was safe … or dry). For each contest there was a prize for the winner. All the prizes were kindly provided by Fabric .
The time passed by really quick and it was about 22-ish when the event, that we all have been waiting for was about to start – The Big Bad Movie Premiere! All the people under the sky that evening were around the big screen, waiting and shouting. The movie was GREAT! Those guys – the ninjas rox! May be this winter the movie will be available to the general public and you all will see how good they are. For me it was a lot of phun staying there under the night sky and watching all those mental snowboard tricks.
All the thanks go to the Ninja Crew : Risto, Dimo, Stambeto, Nikolai, The Rabbit, Miro, Pafchi, Ponko, Zhivko ( hope this is the right english transcription) and all the others that helped this thing come true. It was great pleasure to watch the snowboard movie in the summer heat and have a party with all those great people 🙂
